I grew up in China, earned a BA in Journalism from Fudan University, and worked as a TV director, writer, and editor. After coming to America, I completed my MS in Computer Science and became a software engineer at Bloomberg.
My short stories have appeared in two anthologies of the San Francisco Peninsula Branch of the California Writers Club: Fault Zone: Strike Slip and Fault Zone: Reverse. The latter was recognized with both the Independent Press Award (IPA) and the National Indie Excellence Awards (NIEA).
Before starting to write in English, I published short stories in Chinese literary magazines, with one of my works featured in 小说选刊, Fiction Selection Journal, one of the most prestigious literary magazines in China.
